Out of all of the positive that came out of motherhood, Asterr was most looking forward to teaching her daughters. She had told herself prior to their birth that the moment they could comprehend the world around them would be the same moment at which their lessons began. Since they’d started leaving the den already, she’d taken that as a sign that it was time for them to learn a thing or two. Whether or not the information would be retained, she wasn’t certain, but wasn’t against the idea of teaching them again at a later date, either.

Asterr had been spending much of her day harvesting various plants, roots, and barks, then depositing them at her medical space. As she’d neared completion for the day, she’d looked over the various plants, selected a white-petaled flower, and then began the trek back towards her den. With the distance between herself and the densite having lessened, it was Kaori who was spotted today. Just as Shiori had done before, it seemed as if the girl had wandered out on her own. Once she’d reached her, there had been no scolding given, only the placing of the flower between the mother’s front paws. “Hello, Kaori,” she’d greeted thereafter, smiling as per usual. “What are you doing today?” For the time being, the flower was ignored, meant to be saved for later.
