Cam decided he would try to stick near to Ravensblood forest at least until his new pack was up and running for good. He wanted to make sure he had his own established rank, that he held a place among them. So far he liked the wolves he'd met, Arturo and his ward Chusi. He knew the best way to meet more of his pack mates would be to actually stay in the territory, but his feet told him otherwise. Wandering and exploring was in his nature, so he was glad that Arturo didn't mind him doing so. He wasn't a tame boy, he went wherever he wished.

Today in particular, his red socked paws had led him towards a rocky area, with a couple trees and tons of strange birds. He stopped on a ridge to look out at his surroundings, the sun falling slowly but still visible above the horizon. The day had seemed to go by quite fast, and Cam wondered if he could make it back to his home in time for night. He didn't mind spending a night out, and it would give him more time to explore.
