Rose was happily sleeping the day away as she usually did, tiny snores falling from her mouth in her slumber. She was content, peacefully dreaming until one of her siblings bumped into her and the russet girl's eyes sprung open. It had become a normal thing now to open her eyes, and she found she actually quite enjoyed this light that seeped it's way into the den she lay in. It was comforting and above all else's it was warm, and Rose favored nothing more than warmth.
Her eyes scanned the den for any sign of the sibling that had stirred her from her sleep and eventually they fell on the only moving thing in the area. Rowan. She did not know his name, she did not know he was the eldest, but she did know that this was a rare moment in history, because what felt like the first time ever, her tiny brother was actually quiet. Rose stared a long while at her older brother before finally deciding to wobble after him.
She eventually made it to his side and let out a tiny squeak as all these strange yet lovely scents came rushing to her. She pressed herself against her brother letting him know that she was here and that he was not alone in this scary adventure he had decided to embark on. She was by his side and she would remain there until Rowan decided to return home, mainly due to the fact that Rose herself did not wish to be abandoned. So she looked to her pale brother with wide eyes that silently asked, where next?
