All Welcome
She could not forget the distant, misty mountains that she had passed on her way to Donnelaith. They were well out of her way, however, and those she yearned to venture close, she could not justify leaving the pack for so long, not when she had only just arrived. Yet there were still many places to explore within a day's journey, that Muses contented herself with leaving only where she could run out to during to the night, and return to before noon the next day. Traveling through a thickly wooded area just south of her new home, Muses came upon an opening that revealed a massive depression in the ground. Ever curious, she immediately set to exploring the sloping hills and slippery ramps, descending further and further into the quarry.

Rain and runoffs had carved into the time stone, creating a rough pit with water pooled at the bottom. While the wind whistled overhead, Muses found that she was sheltered from it's chilly bite. Within the quarry, there was an eerie stillness. Clearly, it was not a favoured abode of wildlife. She meandered along unmarked paths, following the gentle trickle of water. It was like finding her way through an endless stone maze. Whenever she hit a dead end, she would turn away without concern, hardly worried that she might struggle to find her way out. As long as she found a way to go back up, she thought, there would be nothing to worry about.

With each turn, she found herself marveling at the pale walls that seemed to glow in the moonlight. The rock that made up both the walls and floors of the strange, cave like area, seemed to be softer than most stones she knew of. Out of curiosity, she rose up on her hind legs, and used her front paws to aggressively scratch against the wall beside her. The grating sound of her actions echoed down the moon-lit path. Her ivory claws left noticeable scratches, while one of the claws upon her left paw had revealed something that glimmered within the wall. Although intrigued, Muses could not be bothered to investigate. Instead, she continued to merrily prance down the endless maze of limestone, wondering if perhaps she would find something nice to bring back to Ingram and Deirdre.
