She missed, but she didn't think much of it. Emma was back on her own feet in a moment, though soon enough she'd been knocked down onto her side. The male had charged in the same fashion she had, yet instead of hitting her head as he'd hoped, he rammed into her shoulder. Emma snarled once the pain registered, but she wasn't yet going to forfeit. If the male was smart and he chose to run in her moment of weakness, then the fight still wouldn't be over. She would chase him until they were far enough from the territory for her to feel confident that he wouldn't be welcomed back on good terms.
