It is only when Wildfire begins speaking that everything begins to slow down. She’s aware of Dio’s approach and Tanja shortly after, and blinks a few times when she realizes she hasn’t really heard what her mate has said. The word bear rolls around and she turns to Portia when she speaks, breaking the short spell that overcame her. She isn’t offered a moment to inspect Wildfire’s wounds now that they’ve been tended to, surprised by the amount she’d managed to bring with her.

Thuringwethil takes a step back, swinging her head upon Rebekka taking a defensive stance, even once she’s stepped back as well. It is instant once everything returns to normal time, inhaling a sharp breath as her head turns away from Rebekka. Something is wrong but the information doesn’t feel complete and now isn’t the time to sort through it all. Instead, she turns her head to address both Tanja and Dio.

“Go, scan the area. Make sure it didn’t follow any further. Call if you encounter,” she says and nods once, be careful. She turns back, taking a step closer to Portia and her mate as the healer works. She catches Rebekka out of the corner of her and her lip curls. “Ban au nau, branwoda,” she growls.
