It had been decided. Freyja was to leave Sleeping Dragon in a matter of days. The unknown beckoned, and yet, she lingered, knowing that it would be all too foolish to leave until Seff was completely healed. In the meantime she prepared herself for the adventure ahead, finding her paws leading her to old haunts. She’d gone a good distance that day and how somehow found herself at the borders-- an area of the packlands that she did not often frequent.

The need to turn tail and check up on Seff was strong, but, despite this, she lingered-- trailing the invisible barriers with very little in her mind. Occasionally, the silver-haired child would turn her gaze to the distance, just to see if anything interest was occurring. Usually, this yielded no interest and she would shortly turn her attention back to the trail ahead.

Just as she was about head back when a sudden call burst through the air, one she instantly realized to be her storm-born sister. Quickly, she headed towards the noise, her paws carrying her to Thyri’s location swiftly. Upon arrival, Freyja made no attempt in picking herself up, knowing that it honestly had no meaning at this point. Thyri had been gone for quite some time, not that this surprised Freyja in the slightest, but what did surprise the Fleima was the fact that she was the one being called upon. Never in her life would she have imagined such a situation to be true.

“Thyri,” she called once her sister was in view, offering a wag of her tail as she cleared the distance between them. “Is everything okay?” Despite their turmoil, Freyja still cared for her sibling and wondered just what could have driven her back to the pack’s borders.
