Mercifully, she was not confined to the den she shared with Doe in order to look after the pups. For all her natural patience, she was prone to restlessness, constantly yearning for the opportunity to run or wander. Her legs felt cramped, and so she had used that as an excuse to take a quick jaunt back to Donnelaith. Blackrock was guarded from the snow by the vast reaches of water, and her own home was guarded by towering trees. That left her with the short distance in between the two to hope that she could experience some small sliver of winter. To her dismay, the coast was not capable of producing the snowy and frigid temperatures she was used to. Despite the icy rains and the frequent frost, it was still unfamiliar to her, never quite really winter.

Perhaps the small consolation to her ire was the company that Doe provided, and the joy that the little cubs brought. Truly, she enjoyed her duty. The red female had eased her worries, and taken her under her wing. Though young, she was a quick learner, and eager to please. As well as being able to take off every now and then - as she would often catch little snacks for herself and her companion - there was little more she could ask for. Muses reminded herself that she was fortunate, and all at once was put into a better mood.

She had just been about to step out of her den, chasing any little critters out that might have tried to make a home in it during her absence, when an odd scent wafted in. Pausing, she hesitated, slowly poking her nose, and then the rest of her head, out of the entrance. Thankfully, it was only Skellige, although it did little to reassure her. "Oh, Skellige," She greeted, failing in an attempt not to sound too surprised. Sheepishly, she removed herself from the shadows of her den, stepping forward to greet the Blackrock king. Up until this point, she never seemed to have the opportunity to interact with him on a more intimate level. Watching him drag Mannoah's body away hardly counted as getting to know one another. Clearing her throat, she added. "Pups are doing well. I fed them just before I left, so they'll be asleep for an hour or two, I'm sure." Her pale gaze was unwavering, although her head tilted slightly as she observed the male.
