Chessur does not go for the kill right away as they each, one by one, register her presence. Her eyes never leave the other, watching her own wolves from the corners of her eyes, and as he speaks, she feels a shiver shoot through her spine. Her ears fall back upon her head and she curls her lip, recollecting the woman that had swiftly lost her life upon her borders, and wishes for the same tear of her teeth to his skin.
