Ocean's Breath Plateau Away from the sun

The sunkissed fur of the brute shined against the suns beam as he laid atop the plateau. No, winter was not the wolf's most favored time, in fact it was the opposite, but that wouldn't turn him into a grumpy killjoy like plenty others. His optimistic point-of-view got the best of him during the coldest time of year, and he wouldn't allow the bitter air or numb paws keep him from traveling, as it was one of his many favorite pass times. The snow he laid in had created a dent, growing deeper the longer he stayed still as more and more snowflakes slowly piled around. Being around the coast wasn't the warmest place, and each salty breath of wind caused the man to shiver, but for the soothing crash of the ocean and sense of nostalgia that washed over him he stayed put. It brought back memories of his rather large family playing about in the waters, and his uncle, Poseidon, teaching him how to swim. It was times like this he missed his past home the most, be he had just gone to visit the last few months ago, and couldn't allow himself to stay forever, especially with so much of Teekon that he had yet to discover. 

Apollo hadn't been to the beach of the wilds yet, and in fact didn't even know he was back in Teekon, but sooner or later he would figure it out. Perhaps run into past friends, though he hadn't made many in the short time he spent here. His eyes would occasionally drift closed, but it was impossible to fall asleep in the damp and wintery plateau. He then decided to accompany the captivating sight before him with a song, and so he parted his lips and began to sing, "While you live, shine," he caroled, his tail began to sway along with the beat, "Don't suffer anything at all;" It was an ancient song from his homeland, one that he often sang when missing it.
