The fiery Cairn had terrorized him before just as much as she'd been subject to her brother's bullying, and the tugging would go back and forth for as long as her tiny muscles kept growing and her instincts remained lupine.

"Offf!" she she barked at the sudden butt-bumping, and then the tiniest-yet fiercest of growls arose from Julep's fiery depths. She had not forgotten the events of that morning, nor had her sore skin forgotten Isengrim's teeth. She rolled around to her belly, leaving the piece of meat she'd been trying to eat for the past hour forgotten, and focused on the boy's stoopid blue eyes with a scowl. "Stoooop isn'Green!" she commanded, still butthurt about that morning.
