Turtle Island save yourself

Today Gabe was back on the beach, enjoying the sun and the sand. His fluffy white pelt seemed to disappear into the sand, which he liked a lot because it was similar to the snow he was used to up north. Similar but not the same. Sand was much warmer that snow, and sometimes it was even hot. And unfortunately, it didn't melt away like snow either. Sand stuck to your fur, and he would have to take a bath to get it all out. 

That was exactly what he was doing right now. After rolling around in the sand for a little while, Gabe had gotten up, realized that his once ivory pelt was now off white, and with a sigh he trudged into the ocean's cold waters. As he was washing himself off in the water, he noticed a light trashing spot not far off. After squinting at it, he realized that it was a wolf, rushing into the ocean. Was she trying to drown herself? Hey! What the bloody hell are you doing? He shouted after her.

After a moment he decided to go after her. He wasn't about to let some random wolf drown herself, not when he could do something about it. He swam out to where she was, his legs thrashing fiercely in the water. He was scared to go out too much further, but once he was close enough he shouted again. Stop!
