Turtle Island save yourself

When the strange woman didn't stop, the boy swam on, hoping to stop her before she got too far out. It wasn't until he was about halfway there that he realized that she wasn't swimming out into the great big nothing that was the ocean, but she was swimming to the nearby island. In that case he should've just stayed back on shore, but now that he was already more than halfway there, he saw no use in turning back. He continued on, fighting his hardest to make it to shore. Swimming was harder for the arctic male, his coat was thick, and built for snow not water. But he was strong, and he dragged himself onto the island's shore not long after the older white wolf did.

When he made it to the shore, he looked over at her, and was surprised to see her glaring at him. Had she not heard him trying to save her life? Well maybe she hadn't needed saving, but at least she could be gracious that he'd been brave enough to try. Well you're welcome. He muttered under his breath, turning and looking back at the coast far away. He'd swam all the way out the this island and exerted his energy, he would need a rest before returning to shore. So for now he was stuck with this stranger he'd tried to save.

Sitting himself down on the sand, he turned his fiery amber gaze to the woman and spoke. Hi. I'm Gabe.
