No, I'm not part deer. It just runs in the family. Why had the other been wandering alone for so long? Was she lost? And if so, was she lost in the same way that Lulu was? Then another was upon them, obviously territorial and aggressive in her demeanor. Perhaps if their borders had been marked better, then they wouldn't have made the mistake of crossing. I do have a nose, yes. I think your borders could use some upkeep, though. Lulu was ready to leave before the situation became more heated than it needed to. Not that she couldn't talk her way out of it, but she simply preferred to not have to.
