In his agitated and desperate state, Bastian was not one for laughs, especially not for those directed at him. The German doctor growled at the snort that came from the wolf, barely acknowledging his apology. It was only the question that Bastian made any verb response to, and even that was short and curt. He mutters to the man briefly before his nose dips down once more.
