A slight furrow came about her brow, though it was gone just as quickly as it had come. This wolf smelled akin to Wildfire, so whatever bit of apprehension she should have held, Kalika did not. Rather, she kept things friendly by starting the conversation as simply as she knew how, Do you have a name, stranger? Her words held their signature lilt, as though Kalika were a mother cooing in her child's ear. You must be of the Northern pack; we aren't as far from one another as I had once thought.
