Arvi
The tri-colored wolf nosed her way between the crack in the glaciar, her muzzle raised to catch any scent, friendly and nfriendly alike. As she crept farther into the crevice, she realized it was larger that she expected. A small pool of frozen water lay toward the back, and not a creature was to be seen. Deciding to stay here for the rest of the day, or until the wind subsided, Arvi turned in a circle beside the entrance of the den and looked out into the swirling mass of wind and now.
absentmindedly, Arvi began to draw one long claw along the ice. A small, delicate line appeared where she had scored her natural weapon. Intregued, she scraped the ice once more. Like before, another mark apeared. Growing excited, thinking that maybe this was a way she could begin to communicate in this frozen world, the mute and practically deaf wolf began to draw what she saw outside. Tree snow dotted her frozen canvas as Arvi worked. Her strokes created slightly ragged marks, not quite perfect, but she had just began to carve in the ice. It was very different from what she was used to. Arvi had drawn in the sand of the cave where she had been born, but their was no sand here, only endless ice and snow. At least she could entertain herself with something.
