But Kaname's otherwise proved his assumption correct; they really were too far out for either one of them to pose a real threat to property. This wasn't really the first time he had picked up on that, but he could not place any blame. It wasn't worth the expenditure of energy to drive off anyone who could get too close. And besides, Mordecai, at times, believed in letting others come to him, rather than actively seeking them out.
