Blackwater Islands take me into your loving arms

Things were changing. Kalika felt new, as if every bit of her shell had once again fallen away. She walked around the Southern Shore, her eyes scanning the coast for tidepools and using her paws to touch on the tiny starfish inside of them. Her arms would yank back as they would move and slide, though she eventually managed to get the hang of her little game. As excitement grew, Kalika called for Whip, hoping that he would come to her side so that she could share this moment with him.
