Blackbeak Bluff more things are wrought by prayer

Following her climb up the dunes and across the rocky cliffs, her pink eyes were faced with a scene so startling that she had to stop a moment and wait for her heart to stop pounding, lest she pass out. not only did she know all three of these canines, an unlikely situation in and of itself; but also, one of the three was the woman she had been searching for. indie.

Indie! shouted uma, running carefully over the rocky ground until she had reached the trio,  the third among them being none other than pendragon, the man she had helped a few days prior. It became apparent as she drew closer, however, that she would need to deal with Feint first, before addressing the male and before having a proper reunion with her pitch-furred friend. 

What the hell are you doing? uma questioned loudly, her voice overflowing with frustration. was there no end to feint's recklessness? the girl, refreshing though her attitude was, seemed to have utterly no concept of danger, or even of death. a furious snarl was released from uma's gullet as she launched herself after the wriggling form of her traveling partner, fangs attempting to lash onto the silvered tail and pull her back away from the edge. If, of course, she caught her.

Feint's body was much smaller than her own, therefore she would have no trouble hauling her. The yanking of her tail would hurt, but uma did not care. after all, it woud be much more painful to fall off the cliffside. In the end, however, the yearling moved away from the ledge of her own volition, trotting towards the others in order to run her sassy mouth, no doubt. Uma, meanwhile, heaved a sigh of exasperated relief and followed in Feint's footsteps, though she stopped by Indie's side initially, leaning over to the velvet black ear and whispering. I am glad to see you.

She raised her voice so that everyone present could hear her. And this lovely young lady is Feint. Her words sodden with sarcasm.
