He was glad Mordecai was of the same mind, if not this meeting could have gone much differently. Sometimes even loners on neutral ground posed a threat. A wolf who was only interested in showing how strong they were or exerting dominance would pick a fight with anyone just to prove a point. Luckily Dante's size tended to make him less of a target. Sometimes, though, strangers had gotten ambitious.
"Hopefully." He did wonder where she had gotten off to. Perhaps she had decided it was time to go different paths. "Most of the packs have been to the north, among the mountains. This is the farthest south I have ventured so far." Ah well. He figured perhaps he would pick a pack and settle in here for a while. She would know where to find him should she return. Maybe something had come up.
