Moonspear you wouldn’t leave 'til we loved in the morning

Dakarai felt his heartbeat increase with hope as she agreed they were meant to be. This was a good sign, she knew their love was special she wouldnt hurt him would she? "but..." that one word brought his hope crashing down and he felt his breath stop. But was what was said before the catch was revealed, before the bad news was spoken. But meant eveything was going to come crashing down aroumd him.


She spoke of their love throwing the word off balance, how the trueness of it disrupted the balance. That he could argue and he leaned into her touch as she embraced him, his body trembling fiercely. He could feel what was happening and he knew what would come of it, and so he looked to the stars and pleaded silently for them to just leave them alone in peace. "the world has so-" he started but fell silent once more as Olive continued on her heartbroken tangent.


And then she spoke of how she couldnt be devoted to both him and the gods and he snapped. Angry tears, sad tears, broken tears flew to his eyes as he pulled away from her. He stared at her " so after everything you choose the same gods who put us through hell, over me who tries to give you whatever heaven we can make together? You dreamt it and we made it through despite it all, but now you wish to throw that all away?" his voice was cracking something awful, his blue eys filled with intense sadness as pain so deep it physically hurt him stabbed him in the chest.


"There is so much bad in the world you would think something good would satisfy your stupid  balance!" he screamed lifting his head up toward the gods realm, his anger getting the better of him. Turning to look at Olive he felt betrayed and wounded so deeply, but even so he just wanted to go to her. He wanted her to take it back, he wanted them both to go back to their children and pretend this never happened. "we came so far...is this where it is to end?" he whispered looking at Olive with a desperate sadness.
