Ragnar smiled at her, avoiding the coy smirks she was probably used too, in part because he knew the effect his genuine smiles had upon her and because she could make him smile; because she held that power. It seemed his wife had a penchant for teasing him — and oh she did it so well — with her coy words and her nips and the lash of her teeth through his fur, the feel as she tugged at his shoulder. “Then you can show me just how impressive you believe me to be, wife.” He invited moving into the shadows of the woodland while also putting hearing distance between them and the children since he suspected they could hear and while they were still young it wasn’t a conversation he hoped to have with them any time soon.
