Ishum had spent two days getting used to the land that was now his home. He'd yet to meet anyone else, he hadn't even found Ra, and she was from his own pack. He promised himself he'd integrate once he'd fully explored the forest, he'd howl for some company, try to make a friend or two. But first, he was going to make a round. He woke at the crack of dawn and carried himself from his little makeshift den to the border. He started at the exact place where he'd been accepted, then went around.

The dark marbled male paused only to lay his scent upon the magnificent red woods, then he continued on his way. The sun wasn't high yet, but it still beat down onto his dark pelt. He's never liked summer as much as he'd liked the other seasons, too many bugs and too much heat.
