Before the man spoke, Maera kept her hopes that he had not been watching her for too long. But as soon as words escaped his mouth all hopes crumbled, he had witnessed it all. A sudden tingling that felt as if her coat had actually caught on fire climbed up her legs, chest, and onto her cheeks: embarrassment.

"um, yeah i just....." she barked, suddenly cutting herself off because truth be told, with the phsysical exhaustion she had brought herself too her on-the-spot-lying abilities also seemed to be too worn out to respond appropiately.
