Dragoncrest Cliffs splish splash

this is the second post I've done tonight for Bobby that has, what I think is funny figurative language haha :)

Bobby had found a hobby! It turned out he loved looking at his reflection in the lake and grooming himself. He didn't hide the fact that he liked the way he looked, he strutted it! He liked the way his dark grey and black fur whipped around in the wind, he liked the way his blazing red chest fur seemed to glow golden in the sunlight. And he liked the way his eyes looked too, in all of their sunlight colored glory. Was Bobby a bit full of himself today? Perhaps, but at least he wasn't totally bored, what with nobody around all morning.

He turned away from grooming his fur when he heard a bark. It was Arlo, and the man seemed like he had something planned. Curious, Bobby rose to follow him even before he asked him to, and the boy hurried to his side quickly. Bobby was about to ask what they were doing, but Arlo answered before he could. A smile lit the small boy's face, and he forgot about his previous activity. While he found that fighting wasn't exactly his thing, hunting was. He liked the thrill, and it was a lot easier in his opinion.

He followed the pale wolf through the tunnels of the cavern to an opening, and the the edge of a glimmering tide pool. Pockets of foam scattered on the surface of the pool, foam patches that Bobby referred to as 'Sea Spit'. He batted at some of it, and watched it dissipate into the water. Then he looked back at Arlo. What first? He asked, giving the male his complete and undivided attention.
