Even the mention of Cypress barely brought a smile to her lips, though her heart still fluttered at his name. She didn't react to Alya's suggestion that they see him, the envious rage that had surfaced when she came upon them that one night still quietly simmering away. She quickly jerked her head out of range and turned to give her sister a confused look before following her gaze to the other two wolves. She felt her cheeks burn with embarrassment at Hydra's comment, avoiding Nikai's own gaze and hoping Alya would steal away the spotlight again. She shot Hydra a bitter, sidelong look that simply said: why are you doing this?
