The scent of others had intreged him initially to think that there would be other wolves in the area he could talk to. It hadn't really crossed his mind that it might be because a pack was planning on claiming it. Maybe it was all the other things on his mind at the time, but she shugged it off when he ended up turning around and headed back towards Morningside. Nothing bad had happened and no harm had been done, plus Howl had learned of a newly forming pack. All was good for him.
