The pup automatically cast his gaze skyward, but there weren't any birds flitting about at the moment, and his attention was soon drawn back to Nikai. His eyes widened perceptibly when his companion mentioned the Alpha female. "Oh... I'm Burr. She's really scary, she musta been a scary mom." He wondered if that meant Nikai was secretly scary as well, but he was reaching a point in his maturation where judging someone at face value wasn't the right thing to do. Nikai had been nothing but good and kind the entire time. Who his mother was surely didn't matter.
