Burke felt adventurous today. He made his way out of the territory. Normally the elder didn't fell much for going outside the safety of his home but today was not like any other day. He was born when the leaves turned colors. Now it was the time that this happened which meant that he had eight seasons of those.

He wanted to celebrate with catching his own meal. He knew that there were some beaver dams outside of the territory and he felt like he could be able to catch one of those. Burke trotted determinedly to the water. The elder watched them from the bushes as the swam across the water or would climb on their dam. Shouldn't be too difficult, right?
