Finley gives her promise that they will know something one way or another and she clings to that. It’s enough of a reassurance that doesn’t keep her from sticking in the caldera for longer but she knows that is not possible. For now, she’s given enough hope to cling to for a few days now but she has to talk to her children, and everyone else. “Thank you,” she says with a firm nod. “If you don’t mind,” she pauses, glancing back in the direction of the den, “I should go talk to them.” With another thankful nod of her head, she steps back, and retreats back to Wildfire.
