Moonspear eyes closed, ice cold

Hydra, Alya, and Lyra were not far behind Korei, for reasons that only they would ever know. It had not been their plan to approach the girl or their mother, but when they saw tears on the pale girl's end and the stony face of their dam, Hydra ushered them forward, sweeping in with words of comfort.

Alya cared far less for their 'sister' than Hydra, and went directly to her mother's side. "I love you, Mama," she said, wiggling against the older woman like a puppy. Maybe it would help her feel better to be surrounded by her children? Or would it make things worse? Alya wasn't sure and didn't exactly feel comfortable experimenting in this situation, but she had to do something.

She shot Lyra a pleading look, silently asking for direction.
