Dakarai stilled when Aries spoke of seeing Olive. His heartbeat quickened and for a moment he wanted to ask so many questions. Do you know where she was headed? What happened?Did she look well fed? Was she alright? Did she mention him?.. they raced across his mind in a flurry of concern,hope,and pain but all he did for the moment was nod slowly. 

Finally he cleared his throat and asked the one that was most important to him "Did she seem okay? As in...not sick or starved." He asked his eyes a swimming mess of emotion. His lips trembled for a moment before he dropped his gaze back to the ground. Olive had probably already found all of the children...Maybe it was true that they'd all be better off without him invading their lives again.
