Moonspear redemption interlude [bwp]

A heavy storm had prevented Dune from getting back as soon as he hoped. Thankfully, it was still before the sun had set when he finally made it to Moonpear's borders, tromping through the snow and sporting his new collar. He had decided that he was chosen, for some reason, to carry this burden. Why he was chosen, he could not say. But something about it seemed Important.

Finally making his way to the rendezvous site, Dune let himself flop to the icy cold ground, tired from fighting the wind, snow, and elements that he had battled on his way home. He scratched at the collar, but he had long since given up on removing it. Now it felt more like a privilege than a nuisance.
