Furi swallows thickly, looking away and staring at something sedimentary. She doesn’t exactly see it but she uses it to focus on what she can remember and she tries desperately to focus the memories. Her sister’s name is Eirlys, she knows that, but what does she remember? Not a lot. She’d been small and sick a lot when she’d been home but their family fell apart when Roarke went missing and she can scarcely remember any memories from then.

“Eirlys?” she questions, despite the fact the girl moved on. Furi blinks a few times to try and clear her mind, shaking her head. “Birds made out of rocks?” she adds, just as confused. Part of her wants to believe it, but she doesn’t—that seems outrageous, is this how Blixen feels about the stars?—but her only focus is trying to keep her world from flipping upside down. "You're bleeding," she then blurts, noticing the slight change in brown to red swelling in the girl's fur.
