It had been a month since his fall, and Prince still remembered little of the events immediately surrounding it. He tried to cast these thoughts aside-- specifically when his mind wandered to Arrille. Something had blossomed briefly between them, he remembered that, but... that would never be a reality, now. Not after everything that had transpired. And Prince still didn't really know why his packmates had been so angry at the traitor. He had gathered that it must be bad, but-- well, no one told him anything.
He shook out his coat and decided to pace along the borders again. The southern border first, he decided, and definitely not because of Arrille. That other pack was dangerous, and they knew now that Drageda wanted one of their own.
Prince hesitated a bit when he scented a packmate who had gotten there first. Ultimately, his sense of loneliness won out-- he had avoided company lately, but was admittedly sick of brooding alone. He lowered his head and chuffed as he approached, moving so he could see her face and noting that the she-wolf was unfamiliar to him.
His gaze only swept over her once, briefly, to take note of her features. If he had been into women, he might have been attracted to her-- the sharpness in her brilliant blue eyes spoke of fierce intelligence, and her features were elegantly crafted. But, Prince was absolutely flaming, so his admiration was purely aesthetic. He didn't take longer than half a beat to study her before he averted his eyes and lowered his head just a bit more, deciding something about her spoke of authority.
