Wapun Meadow Past and Present Storms

the first couple times miss laurel seems to miss her attraction, witchbaby pays it no mind: she's workin' her charm and this takes time. but there is no dance without a dancing partner and she isn't oblivious. slowly she blinks between laurel and weetz, thinking: oh yes she would like to have fun but weetzie ain't fun and, oh no she wants him for some reason and not me. 

but jealousy does not turn her -- no! maybe this is exactly what weetzie needs, a nice girl who will shake things up for him, even if her taste leaves something to be desired. giving her a meaningful glance that says i am hip to the cut of your jive baby girl the coywolf nudges weetzie's shoulder encouragingly, says, "oh, we're always down for a li'l fun, but you'll haveta forgive poor weetz here, he's not used to so much positive attention! like a baby lamb, this one is," she teases, then dances away from his side towards laurel, hoping to have him follow. "whatcha got in mind for fun?" wb asks the girl, grinning widely as she does, happy to supervise this little harmonization unfolding.
