It was almost like one day the world had looked down on sweet little innocent Piper and decided that she needed a sweet curveball thrown in. She had grown used to the darkness that had surrounded her movements. She had even started to recognize the scents of her mother and siblings as she puttered about within their den. Suddenly, she blinked, and the world formed before her in the shape of muddy splotches and blobs. She was stunned. Her eyes wandered to each shape with a surprised squeak and shuffle of her limbs. Nothing had prepared her for such a discovery. As an hour passed, she had found the novelty of sight having grown less astounding. It made for an easier trip when she grew bored of her bothers and inched about the den, but everything was still out of shape and out of her mind.
