Sunflash nodded almost imperceptibly to the male’s comment, halfway ignoring him still. He was too busy being angry that he’d failed the first attempt. Seaweed! He couldn’t believe he’d mistaken seaweed for a fish! How dumb could he be? Just because he’d lost his memories didn’t mean he should forget the difference between a live animal and an inanimate object! Ugh! He kept his golden gaze on the prize, watching another fish swim closer and closer. These fish must be dumb if they swim so close to us, he thought to himself. Maybe they think our legs are sticks or something… As the fish swam ever closer, Sunflash’s eyes hardened with determination. Suddenly, he dove into the water, jumping on the fish the way a coyote will attempt to jump on mice to kill them. 

Somehow, it worked. Somehow, he pinned the wriggling fish to the sandy bottom of the shallows and quickly bit into it, killing it. Then he lifted his head, holding a limp fish in his jaws, and wagged his tail in Rokig’s direction. Look what I did!
