Dragoncrest Cliffs bap the bat

Bat wasn't far from Tux, sprawled upside down in her own patch of sunlight, one banded foreleg crooked over her pale tum, which swelled with her latest meal. Unlike her brother, she didn't react negatively when big, cold raindrops began to plunk from the sky. The first one went ignored entirely, despite hitting her square in the crevice of her right hind leg. The second one—which caught the edge of her nostril—caused one closed eyelid to slowly crack open to reveal a sliver of faded pewter right before she let out a delicate sneeze.

It was beginning to rain! Despite her age, little Bat was turning out to be a rather, well, lackadaisical entity. One thing that could rouse enthusiasm in her, though, was water in any form. With a grunt, the small Goufa rolled onto her belly, then pushed upward into a sit with a cry of, "Wadoo!" This exclamation was followed shortly thereafter by a peal of downright cherubic laughter.
