Broken Boulder charged

the floodwaters had finally begun to recede, and once more the creek that cut through the sanctuary was contained.  she trailed it, leaving a clear path through the early morning dew as a yawn escaped from her maw.  it wasn't unusual for her to be up early, but as of late she had been exceptionally tired.  

slowly, she reclined to her haunches as the air began to warm, letting her aching joints rest.
