Gannet was unimpressed with the stranger's order to cool it.... he wasn't much of a joker to start, and that particular one had hardly been funny. He remained on edge, but stayed down, still tired from his wild run from the mountain to here. He hadn't stopped much in the progression.
"Resting," he said, a word that to his chagrin became a yawn in the middle of his suspicious glare. When he finished, it was likely he looked slightly less miffed. "Will you swim?" He wasn't sure if he meant it as a challenge, but for some reason, Gannet didn't like the feeling of admitting he was afraid here.
