Having grown up a scavenger, it was not trained in to Ikkuma to show kindness or leniency in times of crises. It was a wonder she had even attempted to go after the thin ghost - but, lesson learned. She'd be unlikely to make the same mistake twice.
Half expecting the girl would take the bait of the disowned hare, she was taken aback by the voracity of the pale one's resumed assault; then again, fighting was what she excelled at, it got her blood pumping like nothing else. Ikkuma would fight for her precious safety and space if the need arose, and clearly this girl wasn't going to back down.
Ikkuma let the stranger expend energy, even slackened her posture to invite her in close, only to charge and throw her weight around. Eager to dissuade, Ikkuma snapped her teeth with an eagerness that would've made her brothers proud.
