Golden Glade back to the years of loo-lee-lie-lay

Evening’s injuries were catching up to her, another bite added to the first. She whined for the first time, her young, weak body unable to cope with the attacks. She attempted to nip the female but missed again, half-blind with pain, as well as, you know, general blindness (nearsightedness). After her failed attempt at causing the wolf an injury, she found her legs weakening beneath her and suddenly she was slumped against the ground. She breathed hard and fast and didn’t even have the energy to look up into the face of her attacker. (Technically Evening was the attacker because she started it, but at this point, tired and hurt, she saw the other wolf as the bad guy, as opposed to someone trying to defend themselves).

She then promptly passed out from all the exertion, and from the shock of getting into her first real fight. In all actuality, it hadn’t been much of one, although Evening would have scars later from the encounter, but for this yearling, it was pretty traumatic, and she would look back later and think about how stupid it had been. For now, though, she was too busy being passed out to care.
