Whilst the children continued their light-hearted chirping, Rannoch silently prepared himself for the inevitable scolding that he'd receive from Seabreeze and Terance. He sighed—kids would be kids.
When Ibis and Okeanos grew bored of their new toy, Rannoch herded them back to the den where they'd be returned to their mother. He apologized without giving Seabreeze any explanation and fled suddenly.
