Pleasantries and introductions are exchanged. Mallaidh offers him a tight lipped smile and slight nod, listening as he describes where he’s from. She doesn’t know very much about the other packs. Eske’s parents lead one, but she doesn’t remember which, so she doesn’t say anything else as he returns the same questions. If she wanted to know about either, she supposed he would be the one to ask.
 
Her mouth opens to answer but clicks it closed, realizing she doesn’t have to lie anymore. Pale green eyes blink a few times, she clears her throat and shakes her head, and finally speaks as she’s always wanted to: “I was born in a pack called Teaghlaigh. It was led by my parents,” she says, with some pride, but it is quickly glossed over. “And um, I’ve been in Drageda a while… sorta. I just got back,” she says, trailing off at the end.
