she tilts her head to the side, bemusement continuing to flash in teal orbs as the wolf finally stops her strange wriggling around to grin broadly and offer a greeting in the form of a word ali had quite definitely never heard before. it sounded close enough to the likes of 'hi' or 'hey' to satisfy her though so she didn't press on the matter and instead let her tail sway from side to side- disrupting the soft grains of sand beneath her.
having lived quite the sheltered life, ali had never been exposed to enough to many others and so hearing any sort of accent or uniquely worded sentence was this whole new thing to her that she'd only started coming in contact with since leaving home. it would seem she'd been missing out on a whole lot whilst living in the confines of her parent's strict clutches. "i like the way you talk" she blurts out honestly, curiously stepping forward to stand closer to the sand coated fae, deciding to skip over the actual topic as it confused her how one could possibly fight off a thought in a physical manner and of course she never liked to admit being clueless. her creamy maw opens again in preparation to ask the other's name as it tended to be a question that would come up about now but lets pearly fangs snap shut as her nose wrinkles at the strong smell that suddenly invades sensitive nostrils.
"the hell is that?" surely it wasn't the wolf herself that was the source of that smell right? her small leathery nose continues to twitch until she's able to pinpoint what seems to be the source- a leaf? she says nothing more but her expression gives away enough as she stares at it dubiously.
