Stavanger Bay Heave a pawl, O heave away!

a smile would finally tug at the young girl's mouth, quite pleased at how her compliment had brought the other such joy and enjoying the boisterous chatter hopping from her company. already she could feel her own mood lifting as her mind fell prey to the jolly vibe the other was emitting. she quite liked being called lassy too and her gaze glittered with a more familiar kind of giddiness as she listened to her speak. "huh i wish my parents had something interesting about them, they were just uptight snobs" she snorts, definitely not missing out on the oppurtunity to trash talk the two wolves she hated most /and probably quite unfairly although she'd never admit this/.

she is imensely intrigued as the larger fae goes on to speak of the strange smell as 'rum'. it was like learning a whole new language! "a sweet drink?" she echoes, gaze still shining with a slight doubt as to how that could possibly be but she supposes it sounds nice, both sweet and drink were good things so it'd make sense that combined they'd make something great. "i've only ever drank water" she admits, frowning slightly as she says this now that she's unsure as to whether it's normal to only drink water or was it common for other wolves to try out these interesting things and she was simply very behind. "oh i'm ali by the way" she leans back on her haunches now, smiling with a contentedness that came with being both by the sea and in the company of another upbeat being.
