Though she loved to talk quite a lot (they said that you could not shut her up, even if you stuck a boot in her jaws), she was not well, when it came to small talk and fillling in. 
"Apple Blackthorn," she offered her name as well. "Ahaa... and where did you get lost from? You do look like a fine grown-up specimen to me," she remarked.
