His head was reeling as his body slipped from under him as he went down. That was it - the last of his energy. He had plenty of fight still consuming hot air as he wormed and struggled exhaustedly under Minori, pitiful snaps and gasps flowing from a useless attempt. There was nothing he could do as she held him down, a firm grasp over his own windpipe. And from there, oxygen deprivation faded him mentally back to the hellish pyres his violent thoughts originated from. Lying on that ground, bleeding and soring over, the wolfdog was beaten, and unconscious.
